The sound of ratty 13-year-olds crawling from their shit-flecked cave in search of the elusive King Stork and his Fat Dollar Bill, the answer to all of life's experiences. They blink back the harsh glare of the sun. They fade in, fade out. They waste their days wandering aimlessly for days wasted, only to be robbed of individuality and left to gather dust in some cavernous, nameless, faceless. They clack their beaks together, first as tragedy, then as farce, before settling for occasional fun and/or profit. Mute husks, relics of some other time or place.

As things fall apart, nobody pays much attention.
